Getting Help

Deciding to start therapy can feel as a big step and finding the right therapist can be challenging.
We will offer a consultation first to explore whether I can offer you what you need. Therapy can be short or long term and can help with understanding ourselves better in relation to others as well as support how we manage difficult feelings and thoughts.
We are interested to hear about what brought you to therapy and we will think together about what it is that you would like to achieve in therapy.

You can then decide whether you would like to continue. If you do we will meet weekly or fortnightly on the same day at the same time. This can both be in real life or online depending on the therapist of choice. 

We will provide a space that is confidential and that is supportive and calm, where difficult feelings, thoughts and experiences can be expressed and processed safely and without judgement. We offer a range of different approaches that can support you with moving forward.

The therapy on offer is informed by psycho-analytic ideas and attachment theory and offers a person-centred and trauma informed approach in which we combine different skills and techniques gained through different professional trainings. We offer a confidential space that is free from judgement which gives you the opportunity to explore feelings, thoughts and experiences that are difficult to express and process. Perhaps these experiences are causing you too much emotional pain and impact on your daily life and relationships. Our experience teaches us that we often hold onto pictures and memories that can impact on how we engage with ourselves, our relationships and the world . By looking at those memories, images and patterns in a therapeutic space we learn to move forward, manage our feelings and thoughts better and aim to live a more fulfilling life. 

All therapists are registered with HCPC and engage in regular clinical supervision. 

Our Approach
About the founder

My name is Lotte, I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist registered with HCPC. I have also completed additional training in Psycho Sexual Therapy and Relationship Therapy and offer EMDR. I have experience in working with children, couples, individual adults and offer brief and longer term therapies.  I also offer Clinical Supervision for qualified Art Psychotherapists and trainees. I am a visiting lecturer at the University of Roehampton and offer CPD trainings for the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).

I offer therapy in both English and Dutch. I  teamed up with skilled clinicians to offer a divers range of therapies.
